Flywheel Inspection - TOHATSU BFT250A Service Manual

CYLINDER BLOCK
Position the harness clamp [1] against the stopper [2] of
the cylinder block, then install and tighten the bolt (6 x
14 mm) [3].
Install the following parts:
– Flywheel (page 15-6)
– EOP switch (High pressure side) (page 5-103)
– EOP switch (Low pressure side) (page 5-104)
– EBT sensor (page 5-105)
– Knock sensor (page 5-104)
– Oil filler extension (page 12-5)
– Oil level gauge cover (page 12-5)
– Neutral switch (page 9-6)
– Shift link bracket (page 20-8)
– Shift arm (page 20-10)
– Alternator (page 7-5)
– Power tilt relay case (page 10-6)
– ECM bracket (page 10-5)
– Thermostat (page 11-5)
– Oil filter (page 3-6)
– Cylinder head (page 14-24)
– Engine assembly (page 13-6)

FLYWHEEL INSPECTION

Check the ring gear [1] of the flywheel [2] for wear and
damage. If the ring gear is worn or damaged, check the
starter motor pinion gear as well (page 9-16).
