COOLING SYSTEM
INSTALLATION
Apply soapy water to the outer circumference of the
new water seals (26 x 42 x 7 mm) [1] and marine
grease to the water seals mating surface.
Drive the water seals one by one into the water pump
housing using the special tools.
Note the installation direction of the water seals.
TOOLS:
Driver [2]
Attachment, 42 x 47 mm [3]
Apply marine grease to the water seal lips.
Install the rubber setting plate [1] and gear case
grommet [2] in the gear case.
Apply marine grease to the circumference of new water
pump housing O-ring [3], O-ring (65.4 x 2.4 mm) [4] and
install it on the water pump housing [5].
Install the water pump housing on the gear case and
loosely tighten the bolt (6 x 16 mm) [6].
Install the two dowel pins [7] in the water pump housing.
