17) Throttle Cable
Adjustment of Throttle Link
1. Set remote control lever to forward (F) WOT position. Or, set
throttle grip to WOT position.
Remove throttle link rod 3 from throttle drum 1 and throttle

Check length a of throttle link rod. If necessary, loosen lock

nut 4 and adjust length.
Throttle Link Rod Length a : Standard
85 mm ( 3.346 in )
Connect joint 5 side without lock nut to throttle
body side (throttle cam 2).
Contact throttle valve with stopper 5 and fix it at full open

With throttle valve fixed at full open position, connect joint 5

Contact stopper section q of throttle drum 1 with stopper

section 9 of cable bracket 7 with throttle in full open
position as shown, and adjust length of throttle link rod 3 so
that position of joint 6 of throttle link rod 3 is at joint 0 of
throttle drum 2.
Connect throttle ling rod 6 to throttle drum 0, and tighten
