FUEL SYSTEM
CMP 2 SENSOR PEAK VOLTAGE
Remove the throttle body (page 5-71).
Disconnect the CMP sensor 4P connector
Measure the resistance between the CMP sensor 4P
connector sensor side No. 3 (Yellow) and No.4 (Black)
terminals.
Resistance:1,850 – 2,450 Ω

WATER LEVEL SENSOR INSPECTION

Disassemble the water separator (page 5-93).
Check that the float [1] of the water level sensor moves
up and down freely; if it doesn't, replace the water
separator.
Check for continuity between the water level sensor 2P
connector
• There should be no continuity when the sensor is
level (the float is down).
• There should be continuity when the sensor is
upside down (the float is up).
If the water level sensor is faulty, replace the water
separator.
