Install the front lock [1] and four bolts (6 x 20 mm) [2] to
the front cover bracket [3].
Install the front cover bracket (page 6-10).

DAMPER HOOK DISASSEMBLY/

ASSEMBLY

Remove the damper hook (page 6-12).
Disassemble the following:
– Nut [1]
– Washer (6 mm) [2]
– Hook bracket [3]
– Spring [4]
– Washer (12 mm) [5]
– Hook damper [6]
– Cover lock bolt [7]
Apply marine grease to the tapered part and bolt shaft
of the cover lock bolts.
Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.
