MAINTENANCE
Move the remote control lever [1] to the "F" (Forward)
full open position.
Check whether the throttle arm is in contact with the full
open position stopper as shown on page 3-12.
Move the remote control lever to the "N" (Neutral)
position and tighten the adjusting nut.
If the throttle cam does not fully open
At the throttle arm [1] side, loosen the adjusting nuts [2]
of the throttle cables.
Move the remote control lever to the "F" (Forward) full
open position.
Turning the adjusting nut at the open side of the throttle
cable in or out to adjust the gap between the throttle
lever [1] of the throttle body assembly and the full open
position stopper [2] to 1.0 mm (0.04 in) or less.
Move the remote control lever to the "N" (Neutral)
position.
Check whether the " " mark [1] on the throttle cam [2]
aligns with the center of the throttle cam roller [3].
If the mark is out of alignment, adjust by turning the
adjusting nut at the open side of the throttle cable.
After adjustment, tighten the adjusting nuts at the open
side and the close side of the throttle cable to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 3.5 N·m (0.36 kgf·m, 2.6 lbf·ft)
