CRANKSHAFT/PISTON/CYLINDER
BLOCK INSPECTION
PISTON SKIRT O.D.
Measure and record the piston O.D. at a point 11.5 mm
(0.45 in) from the bottom, and 90° to the piston pin bore.
STANDARD:
88.974 – 88.984 mm (3.5029 – 3.5033 in)
SERVICE LIMIT:
88.964 mm (3.5025 in)
CYLINDER SLEEVE I.D.
Measure and record the cylinder I.D. at three levels in
both X and Y axis. Take the maximum reading to
determine the cylinder wear.
STANDARD:
89.000 – 89.015 mm (3.5039 – 3.5045 in)
SERVICE LIMIT:
89.065 mm (3.5065 in)
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN UPPER AND
LOWER PARTS OF SLEEVE I.D.
Measure and record the cylinder I.D. at three levels in
both X and Y axis. Take the difference between upper
and lower parts of sleeve I.D.
