Usage Guideline
Use this command to set the limit on the port security entry number which can be learned on a system or
on VLANs.
Example
This example shows how to configure the maximum secure MAC address number for the system.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# port-security limit global 100
Switch(config)#
Specifies that this setting will be applied to the system.
Specifies the VLAN ID that will be used.
Specifies the maximum number of port security entries that can be
learned on the system or specified VLAN. The range is from 1 to
12288. If the setting is smaller than the number of current learned
entries, the command will be rejected.
