OIL PUMP - DISASSEMBLY

Step
1 Remove the plug screw, compression
spring and regulator piston.

2 Remove the oil pump cover.
If the cover sticks, carefully release it
NOTE:
with a soft-faced hammer.

3 Pull out the rotor and rotary piston.
4 Remove the feather key.
5 Pull out the oil pump shaft.
NOTICE
WARNUNG
The sealing lip of the oil seal is damaged when
the oil pump shaft is pulled out and must be re-
placed.
