the pores must have a minimum spacing
of 8 mm (0.3150 in.).

Clean the cooling fins of the cylinder and
remove carbon residues in the upper regi-
on of the cylinder bore.

Clean and check the sealing surfaces on
the upper side and rear side.

Measure the cylinder and enter the mea-
surement data (CY01/CY02/CY03). See
also section 72-30-10 Wear limits.

Determine the installation clearance. See
also section 72-30-10 Piston inspection.

Check visually for damage and wear.

The hydraulic valve tappet rota-
tes during operation, so there is
a uniform, rotationally symmetri-
cal support pattern on the cam
contact face.
