EGT CONNECTOR AND IGNITION COIL -
DISCONNECTION

Wiring harness designation:
- EGT_1, EGT_2
- EGT_3, EGT_4
- COIL_1
- COIL_2
- COIL_3
- COIL_4
Step
1 Remove the cable clamps of the wiring
harness on the intake manifold.
NOTICE
WARNUNG
The Allen screws go into the intake duct. The
Allen screws are therefore secured with LOCTI-
TE 243. Leaking Allen screws can cause an ex-
cessively lean mixture!

2 Pull out 4 ignition coil connectors from
each side.
Use a suitable tool to pull out
NOTE:
the ignition coil plugs.

Step
3 Carefully pull EGT_1 and EGT_2 (cy-
linder 1 and 2) out of the locking plate.
4 Press the metal bracket and separate the
connectors.
