COOLANT HOSES -
REMOVAL
Step
1 Take off the spring type hose clips using
spring clamp pliers part no. 877840.
2 Remove the preformed hoses from the
coolant elbows on the expansion tank
with a suitable tool.
3 Remove the rubber plate.

WATER PUMP HOUSING - DISASSEMBLY
NOTE: Only remove the coolant elbow when ab-
solutely necessary!
Step
1 Mark the position of the coolant elbow.
2 Heat the water pump housing to approx.
80°C and unscrew the coolant elbow.
3 Clean the thread (remove LOCTITE resi-
dues).
