Maintenance Mode
Description of Operation
Suction of waste ink started.
(Ink circulation → pressurizing → head wiping)
Process repeated twice. → preliminary discharge.
Executes waste ink suction operation.
Moves head from printing position to capping position
and vice versa.
Locks/releases lock of PHS holder.
Executes wipe operation of head.
Executes, in sequence, wipe operation of head → moves head to
printing position → feed operation → moves head to capping
position.
Executes fan motor drive.
Preliminary discharge.
Pressurizing → head wiping → preliminary discharge.
(After the head wiping, waste ink is sucked.)
Suction of waste ink started.
Pressurizing → head wiping → preliminary discharge.
Suction of waste ink started.
Ink circulation → Pressurizing → head wiping → preliminary
discharge.
Suction of waste ink → pressurizing → head wiping → preliminary
discharge.
Suction of waste ink started-
(Ink circulation → pressurizing → head wiping) process repeated
twice → preliminary discharge.
Executes ink supplying operation.
