4.2:D Check of Image and Operation
Procedure
No.
1 Starting in normal mode:
Turn the power SW ON and start the operation.
When the automatic cleaning process is started and completed,
"READY" message is indicated.
Test Printing Operation:

1. When "READY" appears on the
display panel, press the "ON LINE" key.
"OFF LINE"
appears on the display panel.
2. Press the "MENU" key.
"PAPER TYPE"
appears on the display panel.
3. Press the right cursor key four times.
"MAINTENANCE"
appears on the display panel.
4. Press the ENTER key.
"TEST PRINT"
appears on the display panel.
5. Press the ENTER key.
"NOZZLE ADJUST PATTERN"
appears on the display panel.
6. Press the right cursor key.
"NOZZELE CHECK PATTERN"
appears on the display panel.
7. Press the ENTER key.
The "NOZZLE CHECK PATTERN" will be printed.

Use only papers of 4" x 3" or larger for test

Check the image quality by the nozzle check
pattern and carry out the head cleaning if neces-
sary.
