Intermec ColorCoder V4 – Service Manual Ed. 1
Explain to the customers and have them fully understand that the
following places must always be cleaned whenever they seem to be
contaminated with paper debris, etc.
Feeder System
With a wet but tightly wrung soft cloth, wipe the platen, feed belt,
and lower part of the TOF inlet/ outlet sensors, etc. of the feeder unit,
and remove dust and dirt. After wiping, use a dry cloth to eliminate
any moisture. Be sure that the dry cloth is soft and lint-free.
Caution:
1. Do not use detergents and other cleaning agents sold in the market as they
may damage the parts; in particular, never use alcohol since it will have ink
stuck to the surfaces of the parts, which is impossible to clean.
2. Have the customer fully understand not to touch the rowel units on top of the
feeder system or another sharp parts , etc., as they could cause injury or be
damaged.
