Detaching the Feeder Unit, cont'd.
7. Disconnect the connector J72 (1) and the mounting screw (2) of
the code cramp (3), and detach the feeder unit (4).
Caution:
When the feeder unit is detached, the mechanism that locks the PHS unit is
detached together. Do not push down the PHS unit excessively. In the case that
the parts of the image formation system (BJ head, recovery unit, etc.) are
detached, the PHS unit may jump up violently, because the PHS unit becomes
light in weight. Work with the PHS unit open.
