Remaking the HS data
The followings should require for checking and remaking the HS
data, but black heads are excepted, because only the colors of C, M
and Y need the HS.
1. After replacing heads.
2. After adjusting horizontal registrations when replacing heads.
The adjusting of 1 to 2 dots will not cause any big deviation, but
remake it when it is checked on test chart to remake it.
3. After adjusting left margin on the control panel of the printer. But
the adjusting of the left margin through a host computer is
excepted.
4. Conspicuous uneven shade on image data.
Required Tools
The following tools are required to output the HS data and copy it
to host computers.
When carrying out the above work at customers' site, just by
preparing PC computer and image scanner at the site, service
engineers can perform it.
Description
Personal computer equipped with Windows 3.1. or Windows 95.
Note-typed personnel computer is recommended.
The utility software does not work under the Windows 3.0 and the
Macintosh.

Cautions:
1. Fully understanding for operation of Windows and scanner is required to
make HS data, because the work for making HS needs a lot of operation to
create folders on Windows personal computer, file & copy data and install
printer driver & scanner.
2. If it is impossible to carry or prepare a scanner at the customers' site, print
"HS test chart" at the customers' site and take out to service basis to create
HS data file and copy it to a floppy disk. Carry the floppy disk into the
customers' site to copy it to the customers host computer and then, perform
the process of the HS data.
