Automatic Cleaning Mode Selection
In addition to the features of the BJ system, this machine allows the
selection of a cleaning operation which is carried out automatically
during the printing process so that the performance of the line heads
used in this machine can be fully manifested and a stable image
quality can be maintained. When the customer selects a cleaning
mode in accordance with the nature of the image to be printed, the
mode setting can be changed before resuming printing by the
following procedure.
1. Operate the MENU key on the control panel to select "Mode A"
or "Mode B", and then press the ENTER key.
2. Operate the MENU key on the control panel to select "NVRAM
SAVE" and press the ENTER key.
There are two kinds of cleaning modes, "Mode A" and "Mode B",
which are used selectively depending on the nature of the image as
follows.
Mode A:
1. When printing a normal image.
Mode B:
1. When printing an image with variable data or variable bar codes.
2. When printing an image a part of which is a high density printing area.
3. When printing a large amount of about 10,000 sheets per day.
