Procedure

Peel off the tape holding down each section of the machine.
2 Open the PHS unit and remove the recovery unit packing (1).
Do not remove the taped lint-free towels (2).

Opening the breather opening/closing valve:
Remove the tape and tag from the sub cover at the back of the main
unit and push down the green opening/closing arm.
Install the sub cover
4 Detaching the PHS cover:
Remove two screws (1) of the PHS cover and detach the PHS cover
(2).

Inspection/Remarks
Check that the covers are free from scratches
and deformation caused during transportation.
Keep the recovery unit packing for use when the
machine is being transported, etc.
Caution:
If the green lever is not depressed, the ink may
spout out of the tube station.
