Engine wiring: Removal - Refitting
K9K or M9R
a Connect the alternator connector (70) .
a Refit:
- the alternator wiring,
- the alternator nut (71) .
a Torque tighten the alternator positive terminal nut
(8 Nm).

a Refit:
- the starter wiring,
- the nut on the positive terminal of the starter (72) ,
- the nut on the excitation terminal of the starter (73)
.
a Tighten to torque:
- the nut on the positive terminal of the starter (8
Nm),
- the nut on the excitation terminal of the starter
(5 Nm).
III - FINAL OPERATION.
K9K
a Refit:
- the injector rail protector cover,
- the injector rail protector cover nut,
- the injector rail protector cover bolt.
a Tighten:
- the injector rail protector cover nut,
- the injector rail protector cover bolt.
a Clip on the injector rail protector cover.
a Fit:
- the air pipe at the intercooler inlet,
- the clip on the intercooler inlet air pipe in its original
position.
