AIR BAG AND PRETENSIONERS
Airbag computer: Removal - Refitting
a Remove the airbag computer protector (4) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Unlock the connector (5) .
a Disconnect the connectors.
a Remove:
- the airbag computer nuts (6) ,
- the airbag computer.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
- the airbag computer,
- the airbag computer nuts.
a Torque tighten the airbag computer nuts (8 Nm).
a Connect the connectors.
a Lock the connector.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a Refit the airbag computer protector.
a Clip the wiring on the airbag computer protector.
a Refit:
125364 - the soundproofing,
- the intermediate air distribution duct (see C-pillar
intermediate air distribution duct: Removal -
Refitting) (MR 415, 61A, Heating system),
- the centre console (see Centre console: Removal
- Refitting) (MR 416, 57A, Interior equipment).
a Connect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 80A-4) .
a Unlock the airbag computer by applying the "After
repair procedure" using the Diagnostic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select the "Airbag computer",
- go to repair mode,
- display the "Before/after repair procedure" for the
computer selected,
- carry out the operations described in the "After re-
pair procedure" section.
