Engine wiring: Removal - Refitting
K9K or M9R
- the pre/postheating unit connector (30) ,
- the heating element unit connector (31) .
M9R, and 742
a Disconnect the power-assisted steering pump as-
sembly connectors.
6-SPEED AUTOMA TIC GEARBOX
a Disconnect the R 22 connector (32) .
a Remove:
- the heat insulating material around the oil level
sensor (33) ,
- the heat insulating material around the crankshaft
position sensor (34) .
a Disconnect:
- the oil level sensor connector,
- the TDC sensor connector.
a Unclip the wiring at (35) .
WIRING HARNESS

a Unclip the wiring at (36) .
a Unclip the fuel pipes at (37) .
a Remove the nut (38) from the wiring channel on the
cylinder head.
a Detach the wiring channel from the cylinder head.
