image.

Power down all maintenance trunk modules in the office. Do
not power down maintenance trunk modules that contain
cards that affect service. To power down all maintenance
trunk modules, perform the procedure
Note: Cards that affect service include digitone receiver cards
(NT2X48), and centralized-automatic message accounting
(CAMA) cards(NT2X66 and NT2X66). Cards that affect
service also include digital-recorded announcement machine
(DRAM) cards.

Power down one line module controller (NT2X14 shelf) in
each double-bay line module pair in the office. To power down
a NT2X14 shelf, perform the procedure Emergency shutdown
of one half a line module pair in this document.

Do not power down any LCMs as both units are designed to
draw power from either the unit 0 or the unit 1 power converter
and no power savings will be realized by powering down one
power converter of a LCM.

Determine which plane of the ENET or JNET is to be powered
down and power down the same unit number of the LGC, LTC,
or DTC.
