Emergency power conservation measures
Restoring the LGCs, LTCs, and DTCs to duplex operation
Application
Use this procedure to restore the following controllers to duplex operation:

Perform this procedure after you power down one unit of each XPM to
conserve emergency power.
This procedure assumes that you follow the procedure Emergency power
conservation procedure in this document to remove equipment from service.
Equipment must be in normal in-service operation before the need to perform
the procedure for emergency power conservation arises.
Action
The following flowchart is a summary of the procedure. Use the instructions
in the step-action procedure that follows the flowchart to perform the recovery
task.
