Emergency power conservation recovery procedures
Emergency power conservation measures
If the power converter
is not a NT2X70AE card
Determine if the FSP or MSP has circuit breakers.
If the FSP or MSP
has circuit breakers
does not have circuit breakers
Power up the converter as follows
a
Pull and set the handle of the POWER switch up to the RESET position
and hold.
b
Set the handle of the converter circuit breaker on the FSP or MSP up until
the handle clicks into place.
c
Release the handle.
d
Go to step 9.
Power up the converter in slot 25 as follows:
a
Pull and set the handle of the POWER switch up to the RESET position.
Hold the handle of the POWER switch up until the CONVERTER FAIL
LED turns off.
b
Release the handle.
c
Go to step 9.
Determine if the FSP or MSP has circuit breakers.
If the FSP or MSP
has circuit breakers
does not have circuit breakers
Power up the converter in slot 25 as follows
a
Pull and set the handle of the POWER switch up to the ON position.
b
Press and hold the RESET button on the power converter.
c
Set the handle of the converter circuit breaker on the FSP or MSP up until
the handle clicks into place.
d
Release the RESET button.
e
Go to step 9.
Power up the converter in slot 25 as follows:
a
Pull and set the handle of the POWER switch up to the ON position.
b
Press the RESET button on the power converter until the CONVERTER
FAIL LED goes off.
