Restoring the LCMs to duplex operation

Application
Use this procedure to restore line concentrating modules (LCM) to duplex
operation. Perform this procedure after you powered down one unit of each
LCM to conserve emergency power.
This procedure assumes that you followed the Emergency power
conservation—Shutdown procedure in this document to remove equipment
from service. Instructions to restore normal operation assumes all equipment
is in normal in-service operation before the need for the emergency power
conservation procedure arises.
Action
The following flowchart is a summary of the procedure. Use the instructions
in the step-action procedure that follow the flowchart to perform the recovery
task.
