Wi-Fi scanning service output
The output from the Wi-Fi scanner includes the following information:
Field Description
Field The name of the device, as configured for the system.

Field The location of the device, as configured for the system.

Field The most recent time this device was seen by the scanner. Time is in seconds since January
3 1, 1970.
Field The MAC address of the Wi-Fi access point or the Wi-Fi client.

Field If the device is a Wi-Fi client, the MAC address of the access point to which the Wi-Fi client is
5 connected.
Field The channel being used by the access point or the client. If the device is a Wi-Fi access point
that uses a hidden SSID, the channel will be listed as -1 .

Field If the device is a Wi-Fi access point, the SSID of the access point.

Field The Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI).
