– Unplug connector of the glow plugs -1-. Fixing screws -2-, un‐
screw the stainless steel clamps and remove the entire wiring
harness.
Installing
Installation occurs in reverse order to removal. Pay attention to
the following:
– Expose wiring harness and tighten fixing screws to 10 Nm.
– Insert central plug connection through the opening in the bear‐
ing frame. In doing so, make sure that the locking clips
-arrows- are in the correct position.
– Position the reduction ring (colour-coded "long" lug -arrow- is
in the 12 o'clock position).
– Place key - T10310- on the reduction ring and secure the ring
with a torquing angle of 90 ° (
to the -arrow direction-.
Note
After correct installation of the reduction ring, the colour-coded
"short" lug is in the 12 o'clock position.
– Place central plug connection on cylinder head and lock.
– Install cylinder head cover
