– Release fuel hoses and coolant hoses at right charge air pipe.
– Remove right charge air pipe.
– Check intake manifold flap motor - V157-
– Disconnect plug -1- and remove electric exhaust gas recircu‐
lation valve - N18- -arrows-
– Disconnect the following plug connections and move clear the
cables.
♦ Position 2: exhaust gas temperature sender 3 - G495- ( tem‐
perature sender downstream from particle filter - G527- )
♦ Position 3: exhaust gas temperature sender 2 - G448- ( tem‐
perature sender upstream from particle filter - G506- )
♦ Position 4: lambda probe - G39-
– Remove right front wheel.
– Remove noise insulation ⇒ Body Work ⇒ Rep. gr. 50 .
– Remove bottom part of right wheelhouse liner ⇒ Body Work
⇒ Rep. gr. 66 .
– Disconnect plug at oil level and oil temperature sender - G266-

– Remove drive shaft screening from the engine (if present).
– Unscrew the right drive shaft from the gearbox flange.
– Remove front tunnel bridge.

– Unscrew screws for coolant pipes for auxiliary heating and
push off pipes to the left.
