Repairing unit injectors for engines with code BMM

♦ Always replace gasket rings and O-rings.
1 - 20 Nm + torque a further 90°

2 - Valve-lever shaft
❑ with valve levers
3 - Counternut, 30 Nm
4 - Adjusting screw
❑ replace
❑ Grease the contact sur‐
face to the ball stud of
the unit injector using
grease - G 000 100- .
5 - Ball stud
❑ replace
6 - The unit injector
❑ Check ball pins for wear
marks and replace if
necessary
❑ Grease the contact sur‐
face for the adjusting
screw using grease - G
000 100-
