– Position the extractor - T10052- and align it with the hub bores.
– Tighten fixing screws -1-.
– Put the hub under tension by uniformly tightening the screw
-2- until the hub is released from the camshaft cone.
Note
When doing so, counterhold the hexagon on the extractor using
the SW 30 wrench.
– Remove hub from cone of camshaft.
– When doing so, counterhold the hexagon on the extractor us‐
ing the SW 30 wrench.
– Remove cylinder head cover
– Remove tandem pump
Note
The hoses can remain connected to the tandem pump.
– Undo the locknuts -2- of the adjusting screws -1- for all unit
injectors and unscrew adjusting screws until the respective
valve lever is resting on the spring plate of the unit injector.
Note
Do not remove the screws from the valve lever shaft in order that
the individual parts remain attached to the valve lever shaft. Mark
the assignment of the valve lever if necessary.
– Remove screws -1-, -3- and -5-.
– Undo screws -2- and -4- and alternately remove in several
stages. Then remove the valve-lever shaft with valve levers.
– Unscrew the top fixing screws on the rear toothed belt guard.
