– Unplug connector -1- from the glow plugs.
Caution
To remove and install the unit injectors, the screws for retaining
clips must be loosened or tightened if necessary. If the wiring
harness is removed from the retaining clips, the clips will be
bent apart and the increased play can lead to a cable break.
– Unscrew screws -2- on the retaining clips and place the entire
electrical wiring harness to one side.
– Unscrew screws -arrows- with plug insert - T10054- and re‐
move from the holes.
– Always pull the ball studs -1- out of the respective unit injector.
– Insert the extractor - T10163- into the holes for screws on the
unit injector.
– Moderately tighten the spindle -A- to the unit injector. Tighten
lock nut -B- by hand.
– Carefully knock on the extractor - T10133/3- to remove the unit
injector from the cylinder head seat.
Note
Do not interchange the unit injectors, if necessary mark the as‐
signment to each cylinder.
