Test sequence
– Remove intake hose -1- from air filter.
– Fit adapter - 1687/10- into the intake hose -1- and secure with
a clamp.
Prepare tester for charge air system - V.A.G 1687- as follows:

– Unscrew pressure control valve -2- fully and close the valves
-3- and -4-.
Note
The rotary knob must be pulled to the top in order to rotate the
pressure control valve -2-.
– Connect tester - V.A.G 1687- as shown to adapter - 1687/10
