NOTE: You must include the best-effort traffic class in the ppp multilink
multiclass reassembly command, or the command fails.
Chapter 17, Configuring Dynamic Interfaces
ppp multilink multiclass reassembly
The following example shows how to configure multiclass MLPPP on a dynamic MLPPP
interface. To configure multiclass MLPPP you first define the traffic classes that need to
be mapped to the multilink classes. You configure multiclass MLPPP in the dynamic
profile and optionally configure fragmentation and reassembly on the multiclass MLPPP
interface.
Define the QoS traffic classes.
1.
host1 (config)#traffic-class voice
host1 (config-traffic-class)#fabric-strict-priority
host1 (config)#traffic-class low-loss
host1 (config-traffic-class)#fabric-strict-priority
host1 (config)#traffic-class low-latency
host1 (config-traffic-class)#fabric-strict-priority
For more information about defining QoS traffic classes, see Traffic Class and
Traffic-Class Groups Overview.
Create a dynamic profile.
2.
host1(config)#profile ppp-multilink-dynamic-profile
Configure multiclass MLPPP in the dynamic profile.
3.
host1 (config-profile)#ppp multilink multiclass multilink-classes 4
host1(config-profile)#ppp multilink multiclass traffic-class best-effort voice low-loss
low-latency
For more information about configuring a dynamic profile for multiclass MLPPP, see
Configuring a Profile in Chapter 17, Configuring Dynamic Interfaces.
Configure fragmentation and reassembly on the multiclass MLPPP interface.
4.
host1(config-profile)#ppp multilink multiclass fragmentation best-effort voice low-loss
low-latency
host1(config-profile)#ppp multilink multiclass reassembly best-effort voice low-loss
low-latency
