6.13.3.6 Opening PLC Data

Normal operation
(1) Press the [LIST] menu key to move the focus to the list. Select the desired PLC data from the list. Uncheck the check
boxes for data you do not want read.
Check status of PLC data of other than device comment is fixed as enabled when operation mode is GX Works2.
(2) After selecting data, press the [OPEN] menu key. After pressing the key, the PLC data selected from the list is read.
When operation mode is GX Works2, cancel the PLC data of current open project, then read the PLC data in the list.
If a password to protect reads/writes has been registered to the selected files, the cancel password screen is displayed.
Enter the password to temporarily cancel the password.
If the password is canceled, processing will continue.
When operation mode is GX Works2, since all the program data is read, cancel the password of all registered programs to
read all the program data.
Refer to "Canceling File Passwords" for information on entering and canceling passwords.
If PLC data with the same name has already been read, the confirm overwrite popup screen is displayed.
When operation mode is GX Works2, since PLC data cannot be selected and all the PLC data is changed, the confirm
overwrite popup screen is not displayed.
A progress bar is displayed indicating the status of reading PLC data. (Refer to "6.14.10 Progress Screen" for display at
GX Works2)
