6 Explanation of Built-in Editing Function (PLC On-board)
6.14 External File Operation Menus
 To save to existing projects
(1) Press the [LIST] menu key to move the focus to the list. Use the up and down arrow keys to select existing project data.
(2) Pressing the [INPUT] key or the [SELECT] menu key saves the PLC data selected at the "NC->EXT." screen to the
selected project data.
When operation mode of a project is GX Works2, only projects in one file format can be listed and selected.
For GX Developer project, if PLC data with the same name exists, the overwrite confirm popup screen is displayed.
For GX Works2 project, since all the PLC data in external device is replaced, if a project with the same name exists, the
popup screen to confirm project replacement is displayed.
A project with the same name already exists in the save destination.
Are you sure you want to replace the project?
A progress bar is displayed indicating the status of writing PLC data. (Refer to "6.14.10 Progress Screen" for display at GX
Works2)
[GX Developer project]
(3) After the selected PLC data has been written, the complete message is displayed.
Pressing the [OK] menu key closes the complete message and also ends the save external project screen.
