6 Explanation of Built-in Editing Function (PLC On-board)
6.14 External File Operation Menus
If a password to protect against reads or reads/writes has been registered to the selected files, the cancel password
screen is displayed.
Enter the password to temporarily cancel the password.
If the password is temporarily cancelled, processing will continue.
Refer to "6.21 Canceling File Passwords" for information on entering and clearing passwords.
When a project with labels or a structured project is stored in external device, the data is read to CNC in symbolic
information units. All the programs contained in symbolic information are stored in CNC. Programs cannot be stored in
program file units.
A program file to be stored in CNC cannot be selected when a GX Works2 project without labels is stored in external
device. All the programs contained in project are stored in CNC.
Disable the all passwords of stored file in CNC to store external project to CNC when operation mode is GX Works2.
