6 Explanation of Built-in Editing Function (PLC On-board)
6.15 Ladder Menus
When transitioning to FB definition by searching, [FB Instance Monitor] menu is disabled. Double-tapping on the existing FB in
the screen or pressing the [INPUT] key does not transit to the FB instance monitor screen.
The screen does not transition
to the FB instance monitor
screen by double-tapping or
pressing the INPUT key.
Refer to "6.15.1 Ladder Monitor" since specifications and operations are the same as ladder monitor screen.
Note
(1) When the find target POU is locked with a block password and the password is not temporarily cleared with PLC on-
board, the POU cannot be searched as reading it is not permitted. The POU is not searched and the other programs are
searched.
Temporarily clear the block password to search. Refer to "6.15.11 Block Password Disable screen" for how to disable.
 Consecutive searching of multiple projects
Ladder searches cannot be performed across multiple projects. Change to a different project and execute the search again.
Search using the alias
Searches can be performed using aliases in the same way as for devices by specifying the alias configured for the device into
the [DEVICE/INST.] input field. Only aliases configured with single-byte alphanumeric characters can be searched by the PLC
On-board.
Use either of the following formats to specify the alias.
 "Single quotation mark" + "Desired alias"
 "Period" + "Desired alias"
Changes to the direction and type of search and continuous searches are performed in the same way as for normal searches.
Search using the label name
Specify the label name in "DEVICE, INST." input field to search in the same way as a device. Only label names set with
single-byte alphanumeric characters can be searched by PLC on-board.
