6 Explanation of Built-in Editing Function (PLC On-board)
6.14 External File Operation Menus
If a password to protect reads/writes has been registered to the selected files, the cancel password screen is displayed.
Enter the password to temporarily cancel the password.
If the password is temporarily cancelled, processing will continue.
Refer to "6.21 Canceling File Passwords" for information on entering and clearing passwords.
Note
(1) When a project with labels or a structured project is stored in CNC, data is stored to external device in symbolic informa-
tion units. All the programs contained in symbolic information are stored in external device. Programs cannot be stored in
program file units.
Temporarily disable the password of all program files with password registered if program files in symbolic information
have password that cannot be read/written. Temporarily cancel the password to store a program file to external device.
Refer to "6.21 Canceling File Passwords" for information on clearing the passwords.
