L'avviamento del motore può avve-
nire anche con marcia inserita; por-
tando la chiave di avviamento in
posizione "II" e premere il pulsan-
te "START", con pedale freno pre-
muto. Il sistema consente alla frizio-
ne di aprirsi e al cambio di inserire
la folle; poi il motorino di avviamen-
to riceve il consenso per eseguire
l'avviamento. Tale operazione richie-
de normalmente un tempo di un se-
condo. Con temperature molto bas-
se l'operazione potrebbe essere, di
poco, più lenta.
Se invece il cambio si trova in posi-
zione "N" l'avviamento è immedia-
to.
Nel caso di mancato avviamento,
dopo aver portato la chiave in posi-
zione "0", attendere che il display
cambio si spenga e quindi ripetere
l'intera operazione.
Se dopo alcuni tentativi, il motore
non dovesse avviarsi ricercare una
delle seguenti possibili cause:
• insufficiente velocità del motorino
di avviamento (batteria scarica);
• dispositivo di accensione difettoso;
• difettosità dei contatti elettrici;
• fusibili pompe benzina bruciati.
Rivolgersi alla Rete Assisten-
za Ferrari per far eliminare la
causa del malfunzionamento.

The engine can also be started with
a gear engaged: turning the ignition
key to position "II" and pressing
the "START" button, with the brake
pedal pressed. The system also al-
lows the clutch to open and the gear-
shift to engage the neutral gear.
Then the starter motor receives
clearance to perform the start-up.
This procedure usually requires one
second. At very low temperatures,
this step could take a slightly longer
time.
However, if the gearshift is in neu-
tral "N" the start-up is immediate.
If the engine fails to start, after turn-
ing the key back to the "0"position,
wait until the gearshift display
switches off and then repeat the
entire procedure.
After several attempts, if the engine
fails to start, check for one of the
following causes:
• insufficient speed of the starter
motor (flat battery);
• ignition device faulty;
• faulty electrical contacts;
• burnt fuel pump fuses.
Contact the Ferrari Service
Network to have the malfunc-
tion identified and repaired.

produire également avec la vitesse
embrayée; en plaçant la clé de con-
tact sur la position "II" et appuyer
sur le bouton "START", avec la
pédale de frein appuyée. Le systè-
me permet l'ouverture de l'embra-
yage et l'embrayage du point mort;
ensuite, le démarreur reçoit l'autori-
sation au démarrage. Cette opéra-
tion demande généralement une
seconde. En cas de températures
très basses, l'opération peut être un
petit peu plus lente.
Au contraire, si la boîte de vitesses
est dans la position "N" le démarra-
ge est immédiat.
Faute de démarrage, après avoir
mis la clé sur la position "0", atten-
dre jusqu'à l'extinction de l'afficheur
des vitesses et répéter toute la
procédure.
Après quelques tentatives, si le mo-
teur ne démarre pas, la cause pour-
rait être recherchée parmi les sui-
vantes:
• vitesse insuffisante du démarreur
(batterie déchargée);
• dispositif de mise en marche
défectueux;
• contacts électriques défectueux;
• fusibles pompe à essence grillés.

stance Ferrari pour faire élimi-
ner la cause du mauvais fonc-
tionnement.

de. Bei niedrigen Temperaturen
könnte der Vorgang geringfügig län-
ger dauern.
Befindet sich das Getriebe hingegen
in der Position "N" erfolgt der Start
sofort.
Bei fehlgeschlagenem Start und
nachdem der Zündschlüssel in Po-
sition "0" gedreht wurde, abwarten,
bis sich das Getriebe-Display aus-
schaltet und dann den gesamten
Vorgang wiederholen.
Startet der Motor auch nach einigen
Versuchen nicht, eine der folgenden
möglichen Ursachen prüfen:
• mangelnde Geschwindigkeit des
Anlassers (schwache Batterie);
• Zündvorrichtung defekt;
• defekte elektrische Kontakte;
• Sicherungen der Benzinpumpen
durchgebrannt.

zu lassen.
