Impianto by pass di scarico
L'impianto by-pass di scarico è com-
posto da due elettrovalvole fissate al
telaio, sulla parte posteriore del vano
motore. Dette elettrovalvole sono col-
legate ciascuna ad una valvola pneu-
matica a farfalla, montate sul termi-
nale di scarico, e al serbatoio di ac-
cumulo depressione alimentato dal
polmone di aspirazione. La centrali-
na motore stabilisce l'apertura delle
elettrovalvole in funzione del regime
motore e della marcia inserita per
abbattere la rumorosità allo scarico
ai regimi e carichi medio bassi, sen-
za penalizzare le prestazioni del
motore.

Exhaust by-pass system
The exhaust by-pass system is com-
posed of two solenoid valves that are
secured to the chassis, on the rear
side of the engine compartment.
Each one of these solenoid valves
is connected to a pneumatic throttle
valve, fitted on the exhaust tailpipe,
and to the vacuum tank supplied by
the plenum chamber. The engine
ECU determines the opening of the
solenoid valves based on the engi-
ne rpm and the gear engaged, in
order to reduce the exhaust noise
level at medium-low rpm and loads,
without affecting engine performan-
ce.

Système by-pass d'échappement
Le système by-pass d'échappement
est constitué de deux électrovannes
fixées au châssis, sur la partie arrière
du compartiment moteur. Ces électro-
vannes sont réliées chacune à une
vanne pneumatique à papillon mon-
tée sur le terminal d'échappement et
au réservoir d'accumulation de la dé-
pression, alimenté par le collecteur
d'admission. Le boîtier de comman-
de du moteur règle l'ouverture des
électrovannes en fonction du régime
du moteur et de la vitesse embrayée,
pour réduire le bruit au niveau du pot
d'échappement aux régimes et aux
charges moyens-bas, sans altérer les
performances du moteur.

Abgas-By pass-Anlage
Die Abgas-By-pass-Anlage besteht
aus zwei am Fahrgestell auf dem hin-
teren Bereich des Motorraums befe-
stigten Magnetventilen. Diese auf das
Auspuffendstück montierten Ma-
gnetventile sind jeweils mit einem
pneumatischen Drosselklappenventil
und mit dem Unterdruckspeicher ver-
bunden, der vom Ansaugtrakt gespeist
wird. Das Motorsteuergerät legt die Öf-
fnung der Magnetventile entsprechend
der Motordrehzahl und dem einge-
legten Gang fest, um die Geräuschbi-
ldung am Auspuff bei mitleren bis nie-
drigen Drehzahlen und Lasten zur ver-
ringern, ohne die Motorleistungen zu
beeinträchtigen.
