NEL SISTEMA
DI SCARICO
In caso di funzionamento irregolare
del motore, con conseguente alta
temperatura nel sistema di scarico,
la spia specifica sul display TFT
(vedi pag. 2.26), lampeggerà oppu-
re resterà accesa in modo fisso.
L'accensione di quest'ultima è co-
mandata dalla termocoppia, tramite
la centralina Motronic.
Se la spia lampeggia:
la temperatura dei cata-
lizzatori si è eccessiva-

mente elevata.
Il guidatore deve decelerare im-
mediatamente e raggiungere
un'officina di servizio e far elimi-
nare la causa del malfunziona-
mento.
Se la spia rimane acce-
sa con luce fissa:

lizzatori ha raggiunto un livello
pericoloso e potrebbe danneggia-
re il catalizzatore stesso; prose-
guendo la marcia la centralina
dell'impianto iniezione - accensio-
ne interviene togliendo l'alimen-
tazione agli iniettori.

WARNING DEVICES
If the engine is malfunctioning and
causes high temperatures in the
exhaust system, the specific warning
light on the TFT display (see page
2.26) will either flash or remain lit.
The lighting up of this warning light
is controlled by the thermocouple via
the Motronic ECU.
If the warning light is
flashing:
the catalytic converters'
WARNING!
WARNING!
temperature is too high.
The driver should slow down im-
mediately and reach a service sta-
tion to have the malfunction re-
paired.
If the warning light re-
mains lit:
the temperature of the
WARNING!

catalytic converters has reached
a dangerous point and this could
result in damage to the conver-
ters. If the driver continues to dri-
ve, the injection - ignition system
ECU will intervene by cutting off
the fuel supply to the injectors.

En cas de fonctionnement irrégulier
du moteur, avec des températures
élevées dans le système d'échap-
pement, le témoin correspondant sur
l'afficheur TFT (voir page. 2.26) com-
mence à clignoter ou reste allumé
de manière permanente.
L'allumage de celui-ci estcomman-
dé par le thermocouple par l'inter-
médiaire du boîtier Motronic.
Si le témoin clignote:

ment décélérer et se rendre chez
un atelier de réparation pour fai-
re éliminer la cause du mauvais

tisseurs catalytiques a atteint un
niveau dangereux et risque d'en-
dommager le convertisseur ca-
talytique; si le conducteur conti-
nue à rouler, le boîtier du systè-
me d'allumage-injection coupe
l'alimentation aux injecteurs.

Bei unregelmäßiger Funktionsweise
des Motors, mit daraus folgender

bleibt fest eingeschaltet.
Das Einschalten der Lampewird
vom Thermoelement durch das Mo-
tronic-Steuergerät gesteuert.
Bei blinkender Lampe:

talysatoren ist äußerst

Der Fahrer muss sofort die Ge-
schwindigkeit verringern und
eine Service-Werkstatt aufsu-
chen, um die Störungsursache
beheben zu lassen.
Wenn die Kontrolllam-
pe beständig leuchtet:

Katalysatoren hat ein gefährli-
ches Niveau erreicht und die Ka-
talysatoren könnten beschädigt
werden. Wird die Fahrt fortge-
setzt, unterbricht das Steuergerät
der Einspritz-/Zündanlage die
Kraftstoffversorgung der Ein-
spritzventile.
