Cause:
An internal software error has occurred.
Fault value (r0949, interpret decimal):
Information about the fault source.
Only for internal Siemens troubleshooting.
Remedy:
- If necessary, upgrade the firmware in the Sensor Module to a later version.
- Contact Technical Support.

Encoder 2: Unknown alarm
Message class:
Position/speed actual value incorrect or not available (11)

Cause:
An alarm has occurred on the Sensor Module for encoder 2, which cannot be interpreted by the converter firmware.
This can occur if the firmware on this component is more recent than the converter firmware.
Alarm value (r2124, interpret decimal):
Alarm number.
Note:
If required, the significance of this new alarm can be read about in a more recent description of the converter.
Remedy:
- Replace the firmware on the Sensor Module by an older firmware version.
- Upgrade the converter firmware.
