State transition diagram

The diagram below shows the state transitions in the drive when the drive is using
the ABB Drives profile, and configured to follow the commands of the control word
from the embedded fieldbus interface. The upper case texts refer to the states
which are used in the tables representing the fieldbus Control and Status words.

Value STATE/Description
1 OPERATING. Actual value equals Reference =
is within tolerance limits, i.e. in speed control,
speed error is 10% max. of nominal motor
speed.
0 Actual value differs from Reference = is out-
side tolerance limits.
1 Drive control location: REMOTE (EXT1 or
EXT2).
0 Drive control location: LOCAL.
1 Actual frequency or speed equals or exceeds
supervision limit (set by drive parameter).
Valid in both directions of rotation.
0 Actual frequency or speed within supervision
limit.
