c. Slide the fiber bundle (terminal A) through the thermal baffle
access hole and discard.
When reconnecting the fiber bundle, ensure that the fiber

When installing a new fiber bundle assembly, keep the protective

5. Reconnect the new fiber bundle assembly.
6. Check that the fiber bundle is not bunched or crimped.
7. Reassemble in the reverse order. Refer to Installing the Rear Cover,
Cartridge Interface Assembly, and Power Module Assembly on
page 378
8. Perform all system tests to ensure proper system operation.
