D4 occurs during all calibration operations for pCO , pH, Na , K , Ca , Cl
2
and Hct. A special case exists for pCO which reports a D4 error if an offset
2
error for pH is detected and a D3 is not detected for pCO . D4 is not
2
reported with D3 for the same sensor and same calibration point.
D4 for pO
occurs only during a 2-point calibration operation. D4 for Glu
2
occurs during a 2-point calibration operation and a wash measurement.
Offset errors are cleared by the next calibration if slope is within limits or the
channel is disabled through Setup. The channel returns to the calibration
state when the system completes a successful 1- or 2-point calibration that
clears the D2, D3, or D4.
