Replacing the Pump Motors

BIOHAZARD:
Observe precautions for handling electrostatic-sensitive
CAUTION:
devices. Use an antistatic mat and wrist strap when handling PC boards.
Tools and Supplies
• small flat-blade screwdriver
• Phillips screwdriver
• pin extractor
Replace both roller cages.
NOTE:
1. Turn the system off and disconnect all the external cables from the
back of the system.
2. Remove the rear cover. Refer to Removing the Rear Cover and Power
Module Assembly on page 375.
3. Remove the cartridge interface assembly. Refer to Replacing the
Cartridge Interface Assembly on page 309.
4. Disconnect the motor wires:
Remove the motor wires one at a time.
NOTE:
a. Cut the cable ties that secure the motor wires.
