Configuring Node Aliases
Defaults
If port‐string is not specified, node alias configurations will be displayed for all ports.
Mode
Switch command, Read‐Only.
Example
This example shows how to display node alias configuration settings for ports fe.2.1 through 9:
Matrix(rw)->show nodealias config fe.2.1-9

Use this command to enable or disable a node alias agent on one or more ports. 
Syntax
set nodealias {enable | disable} port-string

What it displays...
Port designation.
Maximum number of alias entries configured for this port. Set using the
set nodealias maxentries command
page 14-7).
Number of alias entries (out of the maximum amount configured)
already used by this port.
Whether or not a node alias agent is enabled (default) or disabled on
this port.
Enables or disables a node alias agent.
Specifies the port(s) on which to enable or disable a node alias agent. 
For a detailed description of possible port‐string values, refer to "Port 
String Syntax Used in the CLI" on page 4‐2.
