Configuring Spanning Tree Bridge Parameters
Example
This example shows how to reset the STP mode to IEEE 802.1:
Matrix(rw)->clear spantree stpmode

show spantree maxconfigurablestps

Use this command to display the setting for the maximum number of user configurable Spanning 
Tree instances.
Syntax
show spantree maxconfigurablestps
Parameters
None.
Defaults
None.
Mode
Switch command, Read‐Only.
Example
This example shows how to display the STP maximum configs setting:
Matrix(rw)->show spantree maxconfigurablestps
Max user configurable stps is set to 33

set spantree maxconfigurablestps

Use this command to set the maximum number of user configurable Spanning Tree instances.
Syntax
set spantree maxconfigurablestps numstps
Parameters
numstps
Defaults
None.
Mode
Switch command, Read‐Write.
6-12 Spanning Tree Configuration
Specifies the maximum number of user configured STPs to be allowed 
on this bridge. Valid values are 1 ‐ 9.
