set lldp tx-interval

Use this command to set the time, in seconds, between successive LLDP frame transmissions
initiated by changes in the LLDP local system information.
Syntax
set lldp tx-interval frequency
Parameters
frequency
Defaults
None.
Mode
Switch command, Read‐Write.
Example
This example sets the transmit interval to 20 seconds.

set lldp hold-multiplier

Use this command to set the time‐to‐live value used in LLDP frames sent by this device.
Syntax
set lldp hold-multiplier multiplier-val
Parameters
multiplier-val
Defaults
None.
Mode
Switch command, Read‐Write.
Usage
The time‐to‐live for LLDPDU data is calculated by multiplying the transmit interval by the hold
multiplier value.
3-26 Discovery Protocols Configuration
Specifies the number of seconds between transmissions of LLDP
frames. Value can range from 5 to 32,768 seconds. The default is 30
seconds.
Specifies the multiplier to apply to the transmit interval to determine
the time‐to‐live value. Value can range from 2 to 10. Default value is 4.
